The handle edges are made sharp on purpose, Randall. This is done to prevent you from over-torquing the nut. You will stop tightening because of hand pain when the proper torque is achieved. John H.

If it's really an advance port, then I'd still hook it up. Vacuum advance helps improve fuel mileage. If you're not going to use it, IMO you should plug it. Otherwise you'll have a vacuum leak that
