- Thank you George. That explains why I prefer silicone over silicon. If I were to replace my LMA with Dot 5, do I have to replace seals? (I forgot) Also, has anyone used synthetic oil in a 4 cylinder

- Definitely not required. OTOH, it certainly wouldn't hurt anything. I've used Valvoline full synthetic in my TRactor motors for many years. Works great for me. Randall == This list supported in part
