- All I have is opinion : I sure wouldn't want to buy one the first year or two that they are out ! All of the previous variable transmission have had problems with short life and inability to handle

- The CVT transmission type has been used by Ford in Europe on earlier Fiesta models and certainly with Subaru on another small car. It's not a new concept and was used extensively by a Dutch car manu
