Bill, I think the correct method is to punch a hole through the seal big enough for the tentax to attach to its post. I am guessing about 1/2" diameter. The tentax is not attached to the seal. Bob __

Frank, It has been awhile since I did that job. I am guessing those ring springs are not installed correctly. There should be 3 and they hold the ring that is attached to the stator tube. Also assist
