- Now that I have everyone's attention, ;-), what brand of shocks did the Tiger have originally. Were they Armstrong? I've seen some Woodhead units on Ebay but the name just didn't sound right to me. C

- The General Data section of the Shop Manual states Armstrong or Woodhead-Monroe with no other information. I found one of my original front shocks and here is what is printed on it; 1223 8 71 Armstr
