its worth noting they also have some non sfi certified ones on clearance for $250. if you just want a nice new well fitting steel bellhousing this is a pretty good deal. _____________________________

The tough part is finding the magic bellhousing that mates a 6 bolt small block to the narrow pattern toploader. The aluminum ones are not easy to find since it was more of a transition piece to get

mine is a normal wide pattern 6 bolt aluminum one that has been modified by welding some threaded bosses in to convert it to the narrow pattern. if you're handy with a tig welder this is possible but
