You would have to be a moron to fit a 715 on a mild 289, especially given you are running stock MKII motor.. ie stock heads and valves..? Even 600 would be more than enough... no point bolting on a b

Yeah, I think you're right. Probably, anything over 600 cubic feet per minute flow is just too much. I was just curious to hear confirmations of that. I will probably move the 465 CFM over to the 289
