More than likely it's just another case of someone who doesn't understand that Tigers were not a kit that one could add onto an Alpine. It's hard to justify calling it a Tiger when it doesn't (even)

Several perfectly restored original Tigers have pulled over $100k in some private sales I know of. I'd doubt and Alpine hot rod will do anywhere near that. All I know is my Dale A resto-mod is doing
