- Mark- It seems (IMO) that various muffler and brake shops often have "specials" that seem to benifit them more so than anyone spending their cash. I am no expert on or at anything but I have flushed

- I think this was a gimick to make a few bucks.....a $99 brake fluid change. They came up with the "kit" thing to justify the price of a 1/2 hr $99 job. I'm pretty religious about keeping the fluids

- I know that some manufacturers require replacing all fluids periodically as part of their recommended maintenance so there is some legitimacy to this. The practice of "recommending" these procedures
