Joe, i always thought the rubber ring only goes on the bottom of the spring....( Sunb Spec sells them) an as far as allum spacers, your not confusing them with the allum spacers that go between the s

The rubber spacers go in the upper cup of the crossmember. The aluminum spacers were likely made (or bought) to compensate for spring size irregularities (different size, sag etc.) or other misalign

I wasn't asking about the crossmember shims. I'm asking about some aluminum spacers that were between the coil springs and A arms. They look like the rubber spacers that also go on the springs. _____
