is there any reason this magic fan is better than a new $30 flex-a-lite fan? i bought nice one from summit - 13" six blade i think. draws a massive amount of air at idle. steel center with stainless

i also prefer that set up which is why that's what i get away with most of the time. interesting to hear of that failure though - i shall add a note to replace mine in 2 years. small price to pay. __
