Temporarily I'd like to extend the driving range of my Tiger beyond the limits of the 13 gallon tanks. Obviously a fuel cell or bladder is an option although expensive and permanent. So I wondered ab

I would err on the side of safety and say no. I commute 25 miles each day in my Tiger and have recently found the best fix is increase you mpg. Inflate the tires higher, run a hardtop. Actually the b

Now this is just my opinion, but I think carrying an unsecured 10 gallon gas can inside any car isn't particularly safe. A pickup, safer probably, but not in a car. Think of the accident scenario, th

Tiger Tom added an early Alpine gas tank to the fuel system on his tow Tiger. Everything filled from the stock filler. I'm not sure how much fuel capacity that added but I think its around 10 gallon

Thanks Ron, everyone, I'm familiar with 'good tuneup' and 'fully inflate the tires' but it's good to be reminded. Running with the hard top had not occurred to me. I'd try running leaner but my Edelb

Allan & others, I was in charge of the rally at this year's Tigers United. As one of the tie breakers, I used gas mileage. The MPG results I saw were bizarre. I had every Tiger "top off" at the same

You could lean the edelbrock up with smaller metering rods and see what jets you are running. When you dyno'ed it what were your AFR's? As for the 5 speed, depends which kit you are talking. The tom

I believe there is a meter rod tune up kit for the Edelbrock carb. A smaller carb would probably give better mpg as will tire pressure and checking for any brake drag at all 4 wheels. The distributo
