Scott says the engine compartment should be body color. My body color is green (LRXFE) but the car took a hit in the front early on and got a new front clip. But......... The engine sure does't look

Mine is black despite the green exterior, but that's only because I painted it that color. Body color, in my case 86, is original. I found a bit of rust under the starter solenoid when I replaced it,

The "proper" way is for the engine compartment to be body color. A PO of my Tiger painted the engine compartment black, but it's very hard to keep that looking good especially if it's flat or satin b
