I have been through the archives and am stumped. How do I wire my red light to work with an alternator? I am using a "two" wire alt. One large wire goes to the batt and the other goes to the ignition

Some "two-wire" alternators have an additional output that can be wired to the charge light... Others actually use the ignition switch wire, a diode and the lightbulb to enable the alternator... When
