Maybe if it didn't touch anything metal in the car and you used plastic mounts it is possible. Remember too that the antenna outer shield runs to ground too. So that would have to be isolated as well

Doing it right would involve opening the case, and isolating every place where the positive supply touched the case. Connect a separate power lead to those spots, hook the negative to the chassis and
