I have the same motor, also bored 30 over (300 hp). It runs hot if I am at a prolonged stoplight so I just added a pusher fan to hopefully solve the problem. The car runs about 190 on the road in the

My 289 is bored out .060" and yes, it overheated. After all the recognized Tiger overheating fixes had been applied, a big alloy rad cured it for good. If you didn't put in high compression pistons,
