Bought a new set of stock chrome (repro.) valve covers from Mustangs Unltd. to go on the rebuilt engine in process. Are they ever shiny. Sadly, much more shiny than the originals. Just talked to Ric

I was looking at the same ones from another mustang place. I really like the stock looking ones from the 289 Hipo's. Can you tell me what type of valve train (roller rockers or not) that you have on

So, would the old style chrome valve covers work with aftermarket heads and roller rockers with Hall's spacers? I would like to have the engine bay look as stock as possible. What do you think? Phill

Phillip (et al), I'll be using stock heads so I won't be able to comment on aftermarket fitment. But...... I just went down to my Tiger and tried to get the bolt on the rear-most fixer on the stock h

If you examine your firewall, just below the hole for the throttle cable, you'll find a rubber plug removable from the inside. That's the access hole for the rear bolt in the valve cover. Tom Hall Mo
