Owain is correct, art board or mat board works just fine. I suspect that you could also use automotive door board but it may be a little stiff. One thing you may want to think about; some folks have

I have used the waterproof black heavy "posterboard" that the hot rodders and upholstery shops use for door panels, kick panels etc. I have bought it through a local upholstery shop. ? Steve Halbroo
