I'm not sure there is a source for the original side molding clips, maybe there are sum in England. I have been using the plastic ones for a couple of decades now and I think I replaced 2 of them in

I used nylon screws for my side trim, too. 4-40 pan heads, IIRC. Places like Lowes, HD, or any good HW store should have them. I, too, am not too sure how long they will last. Mine have only been in
