This should be a no brainer swap; I would think you just need to use the MK II numbers for the placement of the water pump flange for the fan. I would set it up first and check where the flange need

Randy, et al, I can't answer your specific question, but, if you are trying to save space, there is a way to save an inch and a half in engine length. Swapping to a late model 5.0 Explorer or '94-'95
