Thanks for everyones patience. I sanded off the paint earlier and the paint code is 19 (nineteen) I hope that is a red of some sort as the black on top is peeling and the red appears orginal. The car

Paint code 19 is Moonstone; a shade of white. The Tiger red paint codes are 39 - Carnival Red & 122 - Signal Red Rootes also carried 26 - Pippin Red, 28 - Calypso Red, 41 - Ember Red, 55 - Venetian

Tony.. back in the 60's you could buy the whole tiger brand new for under 4K!! and a set of LAt wheels for $48 and a LAt hood for 135! so 200 for painting a whole car was probably even cheap then! "
