Is that possible? Both my Haynes and Bently book say that the motor has to be pulled seperated from the tranny. I know I can pull the sump and clean the pickup screen with the motor in the car. Matth

The oil pump is driven off the back of the cam, so it is sandwiched between the motor and tranny. There is a pickup tube in the pan though!!! /// unsubscribe/change address requests to majordomo@auto
