OH I know that! ;-) That is exactly what I mean, but my dream is still to do panel repair with no more than an oz of bondo total! ;-) I recall reading in one of my books about panel-beating years ago

Along the same lines, I've considered filling the holes and adding tractor/trailer clearance lights from the truck stop. These light are universal, usually easy to mount, and are available in LED. I

Paul, Have you looked into the new body work adheasives? I also plan to remove the side lights from my 74 and think it would be much easier to glue in a patch from the rear than learn to weld. Robert

If you only need to treat the surface for minor fill or cosmetic reasons DO NOT USE BONDO. Use Evercoat Metal Glaze available at a pro paint supplier. It sets faster, sands smoother and won't leave

I just found this stuff. Absolutley great!! I did use Bondo for the hammered out dents and back up light weld ups (I hate those things and the side marker lights so I weld metal behind and bondo the
