- Has anyone improved the suspension on their older "knee-action" shock type suspension? Is there a conversion kit that allows newer (normal) shocks to be installed - what are the ins and outs of this?

- Rebuilt lever shocks are expensive and fair at best. I got the upper and lower shock mounts from parts trucks and installed modern day gas shocks on my '48. A vast improvement with a small sacrifice
