- Hello all. This is my first post to 'ole trucks. My question is about repairing my brakes. Where can I get the litttle metal rings that hold everything together or can I use a regular "Jesus" clip ??

- I believe the clips you are talking about are the "C" clips. They can be purchased locally. The large one I believe is 5/8". The best thing to do is go to your local FLAPS with the old broken ones a

- The original ones are not 'C' clips. They are completely round with a bend about halfway that allows you to slip them on. I too am interested in knowing of a source for these. If they arent available

- Believe they are called pin locks. Available from Chevs of the 40s. a be do My 1959 oletrucks is devoted to Chevy and GM trucks built between 1941 and 1959
