I have a 50 3100 with a 216 in it. The engine was rebuilt and has maybe 1500 miles on it. I am wondering what performance upgrades will give me the most bang for the buck. Also how much power will it

I haven't done yet, but may before I can get a '54 235 PowerGlide block & head. Put dual Rochester's with Fenton manifold & Fenton headers. I also have HEI to put in. Anything more radical than this

If I recall correctly Bill Fisher made a point that he felt a splash oiler was fine for performance upgrades despite some opinions to the contrary. To illustrate his point he did the dyno tests with

Rob, I have a 50 1/2 ton with a sweet running 216 so we are keeping the 216 and putting a dual carb Fenton intake and we got new Fenton headers. We are not doing this to get more power especially but

we like our 216 just fine... at 2800-3000 rpms, we cruise at roughly 60 mph... which is plenty fast for a single-circuit brake system! if you want to go faster than that, i'd wager your tranny will b
