- Anyone have a 3 phase electric motor around 100 to 150 HP? I have a wild hare to build an electric AD 4X4 truck. Just think, no engine to drip oil on the drive, no radiator to boil over, no transmiss

- Actually, what you want is a good continuous duty DC motor such as a Prestolite or ADC forklift or pump motor. They produce plenty of power, ans can be "rodded" sucessfully. On our E-boats we ran 48v
