- Does anyone have information on a 366 cubic inch chevy V-8. I know little of this engine was wondering are they diesel or gas, are the a big block, small block or what and where can parts be bought.

- its a big block, gas engine oletrucks is devoted to Chevy and GM trucks built between 1941 and 1959

- Exxon used them in 1 ton and 2 ton oilfield boom and rigging trucks for quite a long time. The governers were set for 3,300 rpm. They had loads of torque below 2,500 rpm and were basically grunt moto

- I'm not that knowledgable on the 366 other than I know I've driven some early 1980's farm trucks with 366 engines. They used them in the C60 and C70 models as wheat trucks around the midwest. I belei
