I have a 1942 Chevrolet 1/2 ton PU and need to replace the windshield rubber molding. Can anyone give me tips on how to install this molding on the windshield. Looks like it slips into a channel comp

Hi Ted, I've used KY jelly - it won't eat the rubber and washes off with water. Dave Camp 49 3600 rubber molding. Can anyone give me tips on how to install this molding on the windshield. Looks like

Ted...I've used straight dish detergent right out of the bottle. Good luck, oletrucks is devoted to Chevy and GM trucks built between 1941 and 1959
