I believe that my truck is also an LATE LATE 1947. The Vin plack says "E" instead of "F" and the Front hood emblem is cast instead of stamped stainless, The only problem is that Mine is a colum shif

Casey, based on the info I have, your truck is a late '47. If it were a '48, it would have the "F" in the VIN. Mine is a column shift also. I have been told by several people that the column shift wa
