If you're going to use electric windows and speakers, I'd advise against using button contacts. With the door open, you can't roll the windows up/down or listen to the stereo. Although I've not yet

My 54 has two tubes (top and bottom) bent to the contour of the door hinge and welded to the hinge. Hides the wires real well and looks pretty cool. You can fill in the welds with filler, smooth and
