- Disconnect battery cables and measure from POSITIVE (+) cable to GROUND or (-) cable with ohm meter. If any resistance with everything off including ignition, you have a short or partial short. Time

- And if you find there is some resistance, pull your headlamp switch and disconnect a wire and go measure for resistance. Keep doing this until you do all the connections.
