I have a problem with my 61 Chevy pu. Yesterday as I was pulling into the parking lot at the bank, the drivers side ball joint broke and the A frame went to the pavement. I was able to have it towed

Chevy went 5-lug on pickups in '72. Disk brakes with 6-lugs were '71. If memory serves the '61 was one of the torsion bar Chevy's, and they only did that a few years. I don't know if the later IFS ca

Actually the torsion bar suspension was a pretty good suspension setup.From 1960-1962 I believe.Only 3 years. I would just add a disc brake kit and power steering to the original. I kept it in the 62
