Brake fluid will eat off any paints if bad leak. I just paint them with spray can paint for looks, don't last and get all gunky under truck after awhile anyway. What's with the "washing/cleaning" thi

Since you have sandblasted every thing just use a good black paint on them. My question is, why do you want to take them off each winter and clean them? I don't see where this is necessary. They are
