there ain't no way a cat 6 will fit. the closest would be an 8.2 liter detroit allison. this is a gm built diesel and its a monster oletrucks is devoted to Chevy and GM trucks built between 1941 and

Why go that large, I'd use a Cummins turbodiesel from a dodge pickup. I've measured one out and it's tight but will fit. Or stay with GM and use a 3-71 or 4-71 detroit diesel. This has the advantage

id really rather not go with a detroit diesel, only becuase my diesel tech. friends and co workers at work have not many good things to say about them,....... what do you all think of the powerstroke

There is a good chance that 235 is a 261. Check the casting #'s. Grant 50 Chevy 3100 52 GMC 150 oletrucks is devoted to Chevy and GM trucks built between 1941 and 1959
