Hi Group, Could someone please tell me how far up the flap should rise on the top cab vent when fully opened from beneath the dash? I'm restoring a 50 AD, and I don't think it's opening all the way.

Can't say for sure right now cause I'm not with my truck but by guessing I would say the cowl vent on my '51 opens approx. 3". If you look under the dash again and peer thru the WD40 mist you'll see
