Look at a Motor Manual or other repair manual for pictures of the pan shape to identify the transmission. It could be a TH400 also with the plug on the side. TH400 uses electric for kickdown. Terry S

Banjo, I removed the front cross member on mine, but left the rear one. I fabbed a mount to it to bolt to the tranny (TH-350). You can see a rough view of it at: http://w-gator.homepage.com/My_Page.h
