I have to second this comment. On a hot, Kentucky day, the air flow through the cowl vent is almost as good as AC. I took my cowl vent out (fairly easy job) cleaned and lubed everything and then repl

By the way, one follow up to my own message. Be sure you clean out and/or replace the drain tube when cleaning up your cowl vent. Many leaks can be traced to a blocked drain tube. Jeff Nelson 1953 36
