I haven't been able to contact (or find) "Mor Drop" but "MAS" company makes a dropped tube axle that comes with spring perches for the 3100. The only drawback I can see is they require 49' thru 54'

Hi Jon, Several months ago I was contemplating using a dropped axle in our 49 3100. I located Mor Drop in Oakland, via a search, and found their web page which was nothing more than name and phone #.

When I checked with Mor Drop a couple of years back, he offered a dropped tie rod. I think it was about $150. 3100. which info: axle time hasn't makes might Nelson oletrucks is devoted to Chevy and G
