3.55 is the lowest number made for your rear end. I think that if you go any lower your 248 will run out of torque anyway and you will get bad gas milage. You might go for slightly taller tires at th

You might want to considerat the target speed. For example, if you would like to go 70 mph at the same rpm that you are currently going 55, the formula: gear ratio = (4.11 * current speed) / desired
