I took my tank out, dropped a chain in it and shook it around to loosen the rust, poured in a gallon of Ospho (available at home improvement centers), let it sit overnite, hit it with the high pressu

The best thing for cleaning rust is muriatic acid (really cheap at Home Despot.. er .. depot) Just dilute it, make sure there is nothing left in the tank (rubber/plastic etc) and be very very careful
