I met a guy at a local car show yesterday who had just replaced the inline 6 in his Biscayne with a V8. He is not sure of the size of the 6, but said it ran well and was low mileage(60K). Does anyone

The Biscayne engine would have been the 140hp, 230 cubic inch one. The 120hp 194 cubic inch was in the Chevy II (Nova). I don't know about the 230/155hp model. Maybe it was a truck engine?? I'm prett

Pontiacs had a 4 bbl option on the six popper. oletrucks is devoted to Chevy and GM trucks built between 1941 and 1959

My '63 Chevy 1/2 ton had a 230 inline six also.... The Biscayne engine would have been the 140hp, 230 cubic inch one. The 120hp 194 cubic inch was in the Chevy II (Nova). I don't know about the 230/1

The Pontiac 6 cyl (with optional 4 barrel carb) was an overhead cam engine. The bottom end was very similar to the Chevy 6. This engine was offered in the Firebird. I think it was also offered in the
