I have trial fit my motor/tranny combo and want to remove the cab to finish the frame and start working on the cab. I don't have room to lift the cab inside and a gravel parking area limits my option

I removed mine by myself using an engine crane and rope wound around the cab top (doors removed) several times...wouldn't recommend using a chain as it might cause dents. Good luck! Mike oletrucks i

Kurt, The best and easiest method is to find 3 buddies. 4 guys can lift and carry the cab fairly easy. 3 could do it, but it's better with 4 to keep it steady. While my doors were off, I did use the

When I lifted my cab I put a pair of 2 x 10's through the door openings (no doors) and used a chain around the end of the lumber and onto the tractor bucket. Worked well! oletrucks is devoted to Chev
