I have tried this both ways. Unless you are a pretty good fabricator, I'd buy the adapter bracket. If the cylinder isn't positioned just right, the rod from the brake pedal might bind or have too muc

Sorry it took a while for me to scrounge up the old casting. The bore is in questionable condition. I think the dual cylinder is a great idea. I made my own power booster bracket, and it was a pain.

I have yet to order one, but Heavy Chevy has an adapter that includes a dual cylinder (Corvette if I remember right) NON-power master cylinder in the stock location using stock pedal from 55.2 thru 5
