Florida DMV will pose no problems if the VIN's match on the vehicle and title. They have some byzantine provisons for historic tags, but do issue "collectible" tags for anything over a certain age (

Matt, Fla also allows you to use a tag from the year of original issue, therefore you can use a '48 Florida tag obtainable at car shows for about $25. The car show season in Fla is just starting so
