- Terry, I believe there should be a 3 in front of the numbers your listed. According to the Mortec web site casting # 3731548 is a 1957. Those numbers were used on 265's and 283's also they do not hav

- I may be wrong, but I think that if there are no numbers on the pad in front of the pass. side head, then it was a replacement motor, not original to any particular vehicle. The block numbers should
