Whoa! I am very interested in the "seat of the pants" differences that these additions make since that is the exact combination of induction pieces I have been considering for my 283 except my truck

These are spec's for a 1959 283. Books say's 4 degrees BTDC......be sure to disconnect vacuum advance hose. and oletrucks is devoted to Chevy and GM trucks built between 1941 and 1959

My 1964 Glenn's says 4 degrees before on most models of the motor. Some four barrels are 8 degrees before, and injected motors are 10 or 12 degrees before. With your carb and manifold I think I'd try
