I just purchased 4 new repro hub caps for my 46 at Carlsies. Is there something I should do to them prior to putting them on the truck. Wax or any type of top coat that would make them hold up better

I saw where Eastwood has some sort of spray coating to protect the chrome finish- Haven't tried it, but sounds like something that I might use. Smokey Culver '50 3600 5-window (mine) '56 3600 (hers)
