I would recommend painting the frame the same day it gets blasted, the sooner the better. Put off having it blasted if you can't do this. The etching primer needs to be covered within 24 hours or it

You can skip the etching primer step. Rust can form under it very quickly. Epoxy primer will hold up for weeks or months. I used PPG products and think they are great. The DP line is mixed 1 to 1, I

Plan on 2 qt for etching primer. It goes on very thin, and don't expect it to have any hiding power. PPG says to recoat it within 24 hours or you have to sand and respray another coat. This is becau
