I have a 51 Chevy 3100 that has the original rear end replaced by a 10 bolt chevy. The original parking brake cables are not compatible with the 10 bolt's backing plate. Can anyone give me some guida

I posted a similar question when I was putting a 58 rear in my 50 and didn't get any tips. I went to Napa trying to match up a cable but they have a limited in stock inventory and I didn't get lucky

Replacing the bolt on plates with brazed push type connectors sounds like it should work. It's too bad a cable has to be made to adapt the parking brake connections on these 10 bolt chevy rear ends.
